Last October, Dr. Agulló attended again the Advanced Implantology Program, an international course on periodontology and implantology, which takes place at the New York University.
He had the honr of meeting Dr. STEPHEN CHU and DR. STEPHEN WALLACE.
Dr. Stephen Chu, collaborating Doctor of Dr. Tarnaw, is internationally known in the area of implantology.
Dr. Stephen Chu received his doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984 and his master’s degree in restorative dentistry and certificate in post-graduate Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1986. He subsequently obtained his dental technician certification in dental ceramics in 1996 and ASMDT status in 1998 at New York University College of Dentistry. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry, Director of the Advanced CDE Program in Aesthetic Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Associate Professor and Director of Esthetic Education at Columbia University and Prosthodontic Section Editor for PPAD [Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, Montage Media Corp.].
Dr. Chu maintains a private practice with Dr. Dennis Tarnow in New York City [New York Center for Specialized Dentistry] in aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. Dr. Chu is a contributor to The Science and Art of Porcelain Laminate Veneers, authored by Dr. Galip Gurel (Quintessence Publishing, 2003), The Fundamentals of Esthetic Implant Dentistry, authored by Dr. Abdelsalam Askary (Blackwell Publishing 2007), and Contemporary Esthetic Dentistry authored by Drs. Mark Wolff and John Calamia (Dental Clinics of North America 2007). He has published over 15 articles and lectures worldwide on the subjects of aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. He has recently co-authored The Fundamentals of Color: Shade Matching and Communication in Esthetic Dentistry (Quintessence Publishing, 2004) and is completing Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry: Principles and Practice (Montage Media Corp., 2007) co-authored with Dr. Dennis Tarnow y Dr. Stephen Wallace conocido por su tecnica de elevación de seno.
Steve Wallace, D.D.S., M.H.S., is a periodontist and implant surgeon known for his surgical skill, and compassionate care.
Dr. Stephen S. Wallace is a graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry with a Certificate in Periodontics. He was on the faculty of the New York University Department of Implant Dentistry for 19 years attaining the academic rank of Associate Professor and is also now an Associate Professor at Columbia University. He is a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointergration.In addition to his faculty appointment, Dr. Wallace maintains a practice for Periodontics, bone regeneration, and implant dentistry. Dr. Wallace’s practice is geared to deliver the highest available periodontal and implant care in central Connecticut.
